You can track the status of your absentee ballot, or request one if you haven’t already, at http://myvote.wi.gov.   Other options for requesting an absentee ballot can be found at Type E Notice of Absentee Instructions.

The deadline for making application to receive an absentee ballot by mail is: 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2024**.
**Special absentee voting application provisions apply to electors who are indefinitely confined, in the military, hospitalized, or serving as a sequestered juror. If this applies to you, contact the municipal clerk regarding deadlines for requesting and submitting an absentee ballot.

When voting your absentee ballot, please remember that you, as the voter, must sign and date the certificate envelope, and your witness must sign it and provide their address.

If you return your ballot by mail, be sure to allow plenty of time.  It must arrive by election day.  You may also hand deliver your own ballot to the Clerk’s office between 8:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, or to the polling place by 8:00 p.m. on election day.  Voters with disabilities have the right to assistance in returning an absentee ballot.  The voter’s assistant can be anyone who is not the voter’s employer, an agent of the employer, a representative of their labor union, or a candidate on the ballot.

DO NOT deposit your ballot in the Town Hall drop box, it must be returned by mail or personally delivered to the Clerk’s office or polling place.
