Absentee ballots for the February 18th Spring Primary were mailed on January 27th to all voters with valid applications on file, and we will continue to mail ballots to new applicants within one working day until the February 13th application deadline. If you plan to return your ballot by mail, please allow plenty of time for it to arrive here by election day, and keep in mind that there is no mail service on Monday, February 17th (President’s day). You may also return your ballot in the secure ballot dropbox in front of the Town Hall at 4058 County Road N, or in person to the Clerk during office hours (see below) at that same address. Voters with disabilities have the right to assistance in turning in their ballot, but all others may turn in only their own ballot.
Absentee voting in the Clerk’s office will begin on Tuesday, February 4th during normal office hours of 8 a. m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. On Thursday, February 13th and Friday, February 14th, hours will be extended until 5:00 p.m. There is no absentee voting in the Clerk’s office on Monday, February 17th.
The deadline to register to vote online or by mail before the February 18th primary is Wednesday, January 29th. After that date, new voters must register in the Clerk’s office or at the polls on election day.
