Notice is hereby given that on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 7:00 P.M. at the Cottage Grove Town Hall, 4058 County Road N, Cottage Grove, WI, a PUBLIC HEARING for the proposed 2026 Budget for the Town of Cottage Grove will be held.  The proposed budget is available at https://tn.cottagegrove.wi.gov/budget-taxes/.

Immediately following the public hearing, A SPECIAL TOWN MEETING OF THE ELECTORS, called by the Town Board pursuant to s.60.12(1)(c), Wis. Stat., will be held.

1. Determination that the meeting was properly noticed.
2. Call to Order.
3. Discuss/Consider adoption of the 2025 town tax levy, to be paid in 2026 pursuant to s.60.10(1)(a), Wis. Stat.
4. Adjournment

A quorum of the members of the Town Board may be at the Special Town Meeting and may take action on the 2026 Budget at their meeting immediately following the Special Town Meeting (The December 1^st Town Board agenda will be posted at the Town Hall and on the Town's web site by November 28^th).
