Please take notice that the Town of Cottage Grove, Dane County WI enacted Ordinance No. 2025-06-02, which amended section 09.097 of the Town Code of Ordinances - All-Terrain Vehicles and Utility Terrain Vehicles to designate all Town Roads AS POSTED as ATV/UTV routes. 

The Town shares jurisdiction over several area roads with either the Village of Cottage Grove, City of Madison or Village of McFarland, none of which have opened roads to ATV/UTV routes.  Because of this, riders must pay attention to signage to be sure they are not entering prohibited areas.  Please review the ATV/UTV Sign Map carefully.  For full regulations and other valuable resources, please see https://tn.cottagegrove.wi.gov/atvutv-routes/.
