We wanted to make you aware of a recent scam involving some Wisconsin municipalities. Someone has been invoicing residents in WI under the guise of their local municipalities, asking residents to pay fake fees.
While we are not aware of anything locally at this time, if you ever receive an invoice from the Town of Cottage Grove that you question or don't understand, please reach out to us before paying it at (608) 839-5021 or clerk@tn.cottagegrove.wi.gov so we can verify its authenticity for you.
