Town Municipal Judge - Up for election in April

The Town of Cottage Grove anticipates a vacancy for the position of Municipal Judge that is up for election in April 2027.
 
If you are interested in serving your community as Municipal Judge, now is the time to consider running for this position.
 
You must be a Town of Cottage Grove resident to serve as Municipal Judge. The Municipal Judge term is 4 years, with the next term beginning on May 1, 2027. The Municipal Judge carries out statutory duties, as per Wisconsin Stat. § 755.01 found here: https://docs.legis.wisconsin.gov/statutes/statutes/755/01
Court is generally held once per month, and this position is assisted by the Town Court Clerk.
