07/25/2025 Update - The paving contractor has provided notice that they expect to start our projects next week.
Once again, this will affect the following roads:
- Gaston Road
- Buss Road
- Kristy Road
- Lane Street
- Hope Road
- Sime Road

7/22/25 Update- Chip sealing started yesterday and will be finished soon. Paving will hopefully start next week.
7/3/25 Update - Our paving contractor has delayed until the week of July 14th or 21st. Please stay tuned for additional updates.
7/1/25 Update - Our contractor was delayed in starting this last week, and they will begin work as soon as they are able to this week. We will add further updates here as they become available.
**Upcoming Road Work Notice**
Road work will begin this coming Friday, June 27th for the following roads:
- Gaston Road
- Buss Road
- Kristy Road
- Lane Street
- Hope Road
- Sime Road
Our contractor, Payne and Dolan, will begin millwork this Friday, June 27th, and then paving will start on Monday, June 30th. Full road closures will occur, but local traffic will always be allowed to get to and from their homes.
Stay tuned for updates, as needed.
The attached map shows the affected roads. Paving projects are shown in yellow. Chip seal projects are shown in green, and will occur later this Summer. We will share another notice when we know more about the specific dates for those projects.
