We have been getting calls from the Meadow Grove neighborhood wondering about utility marking flags in the area.   According to Alliant Energy personnel, they are calling in locates mainly to see where they can place new facilities to try and minimize conflicts for a project planned for 2027.  Flags need to stay as long as the locate ticket is active according to state law, which is 10 days.
